On Second Thought - Kise Ryouta x Reader

"AAAAGHHH!!! Kurokocchi!! She's not calling me!! Why is she not calling me?" the blond model shrieks in frustration.
"Who the hell invited you to my house??!! Hey!! You are spilling ice-cream on the floor!" Taiga tries to snatch the ice-cream tub from his hands.

The silent phantom sixth-man just can't stop sighing at this sight. He still doesn't understand why is he even here instead of being with Number 2 at this hour.

Kise Ryouta and you had been going out for four months, despite you both being at Kaijō, you hardly see each other for four hours. With him being busy because of modelling and basketball, it's basically his fangirls which made you question if you made the right choice. Lately, Kise had been dying to go out with you on a date but you kept shooting him down as you were still traumatized by your first date experience when fifteen girls ambushed you two in the movie theater.

Kise finally burst out today (even though he is regretting it now)!

"You like me or not, [Your first name]-cchi?" he held you tightly.
"Of course, I like you." you tried to wiggle out.
"Then why don't you want to go on a date with me? I'm your boyfriend!" he complained.
"Maybe another time."
"You said that the other time and before that time! Okay! Let's breakup." he deadpanned.

You couldn't believe what you were hearing, somehow you knew it was going to end like this. You looked at the tall model for a last time. You smiled before kissing him gently.

"I really loved you." you whispered before letting him go.
"Yeah... Whatever." his brain stopped working.

So... now that he has come to his senses, he sees what an ass he is. Hence, he dragged Kuroko out of his house and barged into Kagami's house.

"She's not picking up, Kagamicchi!!" he stomps his feet like a kid.
"You broke up with her." the aggressive ace puts it bluntly.
"How can she accept it so calmly???? She's a girl! She's supposed to argue with me until I give in!" he puts up his ridiculous logic.

Kuroko, who has been watching all this calmly, finally decides to throw his light of wisdom on the poor soul as he sees that his vanilla shake is finished.

"She's not someone like that, Kise-kun. She always waited for you when you were too busy. She always put herself last so that you can concentrate on your work. She made sure she didn't hinder you." he states the fact.

"Why didn't she want go on a date?" Kise whines.
"Your fangirls blocking your girlfriend's sight can't be called a date, Kise-kun."
"Now that you mention it, how did she put up with it? Your fangirls are annoying." Kagami ponders over the fact.

Kise feels like a lightening bolt hit his head. Seriously, how did he not notice that? He get up quickly, spilling the ice-cream container on the floor, and start for your house.

"I TOLD HIM TO NOT SPILL IT!" Kagami yells.

"[Your first name]-cchi! [Your first name]-cchi! OPEN THE DOOR!" Kise continues rapping your door.

For a second, you think you are hearing things. 'Great, I've officially gone crazy. No way Kise is going to come at my door.' you laugh at the thought.

"[Your name]! I WILL BREAK THIS DAMN DOOR!"

Does Kise talk like that? You wonder. 'But the voice sounds like Kise.'

You poke your head out of the window and, *fireworks please* see him looking like he just came out of a magazine cover.

Sheesh, why does he have to be so good-looking?

"What are you doing here, Kise?" you cross your arms to stop yourself from hugging him. He's just so tempting.
"Why are you not picking my calls?" he pouts.
"I was busy. Plus, we broke up."
"HAAAAA!!!! [Your first name]-cchi, how can you open up your door so late at night looking like this?" his face turns scarlet as he takes in your clothes.

You check yourself again to see if your top has a hole or something. Nope, perfectly fine. You shoot him a confused gaze.

"What's wrong with my outfit?"
"Why is your shorts so tiny?" he stands in front of you, blocking you completely.
"Because it's hot."
"What's with the tank top?"
"It's my favorite! Geez.. What's with you today, Kise?" you start getting annoyed.
"You can't just open door for anyone when you look so.... so..."
"So what?? Actually, you are right. I can't just open door for anyone!" you shut the door on his face but Kise manages to put his foot in the gap to stop you.

"I'm just anyone to you? You said you loved me." he invites himself into your house.
"I... Wait. Why are you here?"
"To give you the reply to your confession!" his face lit up instantly.
"Why does your brain work so slow?"
"Look, I'm clearly too childish. I want you to make alot of memories with me. I'm busy all the time and I didn't even notice when you started feeling uncomfortable due to all the umm.. fans. I may have said things that hurt you. But I'm not mature enough to let you move on... You belong to me only."

Before you could say anything, he puts his lips on yours to stop you. Though you hate to admit it,, your sensibility all went down the drain. His hands pull you close enough to make it impossible to escape. His lips feel soft and warm, his kiss is gentle yet demanding. He tastes like chocolate ice-cream. This makes you remember just how much you love this guy. He said you belong with him, you don't look like you want to let go of him anytime soon.

"I'll walk to school with you tomorrow." he smiles.
"Then we will go to park after your practice. Okay?" you wrap your arms around him.
"You mean like a date???!!" he takes a proper look at your face.
"Yes, I mean a date." you laugh at his excitement.
"I'll make it the best date ever!!"
